Our Story

Founded in the heart of Atlanta, rooted in Manyu tradition

The Manyu Elements Cultural Association of Georgia (MECAGA) was established by a dedicated group of Manyu indigenes living in Georgia, USA, united by a shared commitment to preserve the cultural identity of the Manyu people from the South West Region of Cameroon.

From the annual Manyu Heritage Festival to weekly language classes, MECAGA actively bridges the gap between generations and continents, ensuring that the rich tapestry of Manyu culture — its language Kenyang, its music, its traditions — is passed down with pride.
